ISLAMABAD: Organisation of an international sports event in Pakistan may sound like a dream but it is true. The 2nd Asian Squash Championship will be staged in Lahore in the second week of September. This event was originally allocated to the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) who have requested the Punjab Squash Association (PSA) headed by Malik Amjad Noon to organise this event. Most of the top squash nations in Asia have already confirmed their participation. The PSA richly deserved this honour because they are by far the most active squash body in Pakistan and have produced champions in recent years in various age group categories.
