Students run awareness movement

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) and Pakistan Girls Guide Association (GGA) have jointly launched a road safety awareness drive in educational institutes of the capital. A total of 68 institutes will be visited to acquaint students with traffic laws.

This campaign will continue until December and workshops will be held at government educational institutions. The first of a series of workshops was held at IMCG Nilore School. It was participated by girl students of AAFC Model College and IMS Chirah Nilore.

The education teams of ITP delivered lecture to the students and provided them information through multimedia. Education team in-charge Inspector Mehfooz Kayani and Pakistan Girls Guide Association Field Coordinator Arjumand Shamim also addressed the participants.
