KARACHI: All Karachi Inter-School Declamation contest was held at Defence Authority SKBZ College on Friday in which the students of 23 reputed schools of the metropolis participated. Addressing the ceremony as the chief guest, Abbas Hussain, Director Teachers Development Centre, Karachi emphasized upon the need of promoting a culture of healthy co-curricular activities in educational institutions which was vital for intellectual and physical development of students’ faculties. He said that the art of speaking effectively and fluently adds to the confidence of a person and ensures his success in life. He appreciated the content and style of presentation of speeches by the students and gave them some important tips for further refinement of their oratory skills. He also commended the ability of the college for organising an event of intellectual and literary significance in a meticulous and innovative manner.
